Select two cards to put in crib.
Rules.
the crib. at the beginning of each hand each player has 6 cards. before the cut is made, each player must put two cards
in the crib. the crib alternates possession. the person with the crib counts last. this can be important at the end of the
game.
the cut card is added to each persons' hand for scoring after pegging is complete. if the cut card is a jack, the player
who cut the card gets 1 point for "his nobs".
Pegging. Alternate turns laying a card. If you lay a card that totals the current stack up to 15 or 31, you get 2 points. If
it is your turn and you can't play any cards without putting the current total over 31, you give the other player a "GO". If the
other person can play, they must, and are awarded points as appropriate. if they can't play anymore, they get 1 point.
in one current stack, you can play any card as long as the total is below 31. if any permutation of 3 or more of the previous
cards create a run, you get as many points as there are cards in the run. you can also lay pairs. a pair is 2, 3 of a kind is 6pts
and 4 of a kind is 12pts.
Hand scoring. add up all 15's, pairs, 3 and 4 of a kinds, and runs. 1 point for nobs if you have a jack that matches
the suit of the cut card. The player without the crib counts first
The first player to get 121 points wins. if a player wins and the other play has 90pts or less the winner "skunks" the loser.
If the loser has 60pts or less, the winner "double skunks" the loser.
